Taking place on Thursday 24th August, the awards celebrate the incredible range of creativity and excellence of the UK TV industry, with Channel 4 receiving 25 nominations, the BBC 16, Sky 7 and Apple TV+ taking 4. The awards category nominations cover a varied slate of excellent productions including Wednesday, The Last of Us, and Succession.
Since it was established in 1976, the Edinburgh International TV Festival is the home of independent debate in TV. With a programme created by and for the TV industry, it attracts more than 2000 delegates from over 25 countries. This year the festival runs between the 22nd and 25th August with a wide range of networking opportunities alongside keynote speeches, debates and masterclasses. Louis Theroux has already been revealed as the speaker of the Mactaggart Lecture.
