This week’s employee spotlight features a team member who has spent the last seven years growing his career, leading others, and embracing every opportunity that has come his way.
Joining Sargent-Disc around seven years ago, Logan’s initial attraction was refreshingly simple:
“Honestly, it was a job close to home!”
What followed was a journey filled with professional development, new challenges and memorable moments. When asked about a standout achievement, two things immediately came to mind.
“Professionally, contributing to big projects and having the opportunity to lead my own team have been some real highlights, but personally, meeting Immy is difficult to beat!”
Over the years, he has seen Sargent-Disc continue to evolve, with one of the biggest changes being the company’s integration with Cast & Crew and the increased scale and structure that came with it.
For him, the best part of working at Sargent-Disc is a combination of great people and the freedom to make a real impact.
“I work with some genuinely top-tier people, and I really value the freedom to explore new ideas and take ownership of important work. I also get to enjoy a surprising amount of general maths, which is far more exciting to me than it probably should be!”
He also credits several key people for supporting his development and helping him progress throughout his career.
“Sargent-Disc has been incredibly supportive of my development. Lara, Laurence and Amelie have recognised my dedication and strengths, giving me opportunities to grow and take on greater responsibility.”
Looking ahead, Logan is particularly excited by the possibilities that emerging technology could bring to the business.
“How we can link AI to the business. Smart thinking.”
Logan’s story is a great example of how hard work, curiosity and a willingness to take on new challenges can create opportunities for growth within Sargent-Disc.
