As we continue celebrating 40 years of Sargent-Disc, we’re proud to highlight the people whose dedication, growth and commitment have shaped our success. Chloe Mayland, one of our Payroll Team Leaders, is our next focus – her journey is a fantastic example of the opportunities that can develop when talent, determination and support come together.
More than 20 years ago, Chloe joined Sargent-Disc on reception, expecting it to be nothing more than a temporary role.
“I joined SD over 20 years ago on reception. It was only supposed to be a stopgap but, as it turned out, the role and company had other plans for me.”
Over the years, that temporary position evolved into a rewarding career. Starting on reception and progressing to Payroll Team Leader, she has taken on a wide range of responsibilities, built strong working relationships and continually developed both personally and professionally.
Having been part of the company for over two decades, Chloe has witnessed some of the most significant milestones in Sargent-Disc’s history. Among the biggest was the transition in leadership and becoming part of the Cast & Crew family.
“The company has grown considerably since I first joined. The biggest milestone was seeing John and Marija step down and welcoming Cast & Crew into the business.”
When asked what has kept her at Sargent-Disc for so many years, the answer was simple: the people.
“It’s the people who keep me here. Colleagues who became amazing friends and the long-standing relationships I’ve built with clients throughout my career.”
Looking back on a remarkable journey from reception to leadership, Chloe’s story perfectly reflects the supportive culture and career opportunities that have helped define Sargent-Disc over the past 40 years.
