Our Vista Accounting courses introduce the principals of production cost accounting using the latest version of the software. From this course you will gain a broad understanding of Vista Accounting and how it can be used across the typical production cycle. Courses are aimed at Production Accountants, Assistant Accountants, Independent Film Makers and Financial Analysts.

Course outline

Whether you are using the program for the first time, or just want to improve your skills, our training courses offer hands-on experience in the follow areas:

  • Accounts Payable: Vendor creation, invoices and payment processing, petty cash, journal entry
  • Data transfer:  Import and  export, including payroll interface, location uploads and corporate transfers
  • System Configuration: Get the most from the software whether you are studio-based or in a variety of locations
  • Reports: Cost reporting, trial balance, vendor enquiry, ledger enquiry, cheque history

Courses can be tailored to your exact requirements. Candidates attending this course should have some book-keeping experience or some practical production accounting knowledge.
