If you are new to the software or simply need a refresher, this course is perfect for you. The course includes an overview of the latest Movie Magic Scheduling software. You will be guided through the scheduling process, starting with the marking up and breaking down of a script. You will then learn how to enter the script breakdown and how to use the stripboard to sort, move and group strips. You will also learn how to design and print the reports using the software.
Course Aim
To introduce and practice the principals of Script breakdown and Script scheduling. For production personnel to gain practical knowledge of the Movie Magic Scheduling software and to confidently begin producing and manipulating schedules for a range of production formats.
By the end of the training session, candidates will be able to:
- Recognise the principals, purpose and effect of a production schedule.
- Mark up, break down and identify significant elements in an example script.
- Construct a schedule from a basic script.
- Manipulate a schedule to examples of real production changes.
- Print Schedules and other documents using various designs and styles to suit individual needs.
