Movie Magic Scheduling

Movie Magic Scheduling

Our Movie Magic Scheduling courses introduce the principals of applying a script breakdown, building and manipulating a production schedule using the latest version of the software. The course is designed to help the transition between roles and across genres as well as those who have never used Movie Magic Scheduling before.

Courses cater for Producers, Line Producers, Production Co-ordinators, 1st Assistant Directors, 2nd Assistant Directors, Production Managers, Independent Film Makers and UPMs.

Introduction to Movie Magic Scheduling

If you are new to the software or simply need a refresher, this course is perfect for you. The course includes an overview of the latest Movie Magic Scheduling software. You will be guided through the scheduling process, starting with the marking up and breaking down of a script. You will then learn how to enter the script breakdown and how to use the stripboard to sort, move and group strips. You will also learn how to design and print the reports using the software.

Advanced Movie Magic Scheduling

If you have used previous versions of the software or are moving into a new role, this course offers you the chance to refresh your knowledge. It will guide you through the fundamentals of the software whilst concentrating on some of the latest and more advanced features, such as using red flags to avoid scheduling disasters. You will also learn how to use the software to deal with unscheduled changes. The course offers an excellent opportunity to discuss your project with our experienced tutors. Production experience is a must for this class.
