If you are new to the software or simply need a refresher, this course is perfect for you. The course includes an overview of the latest Movie Magic Budgeting software and will guide you through the process of setting up a budget and getting the most from the software. You will also learn how to use currencies, groups, globals and fringes and how to prepare and generate a range of useful reports.
Course Aim
To introduce and practice the principals of creating and building a Production Budget. For production personnel to gain practical knowledge of the Movie Magic Budgeting software and to confidently begin producing and manipulating budgets for a range of production formats.
By the end of the training session, candidates will be able to:
- Recognise the principals, purpose and effect of a production budget.
- Set-up and construct a budget from a script.
- Manipulate a budget to examples of real production changes.
- Print and share budget revisions.
