Summary

"The Sargent-Disc BAFTA Filmmakers' Market has proved to be an immensely popular part of the BAFTA learning and events programme. It offers emerging filmmakers the chance to pick up hints and tips and the vital knowledge they need to succeed in making their first feature. BAFTA welcomes the opportunity it brings to share the wealth of experience of our speakers and partners with the new generation of film talent breaking through - helping them to become the BAFTA-winners of tomorrow." - Tim Hunter, Director of Learning and Events at BAFTA.

Sargent-Disc BAFTA Filmmakers' Market

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and Sargent-Disc have today announced that The Sargent-Disc BAFTA Filmmaker's Market will take place on Saturday 5th July at BAFTA's headquarters, 195 Piccadilly in London.

Dr. Laurence Sargent, Director of Sargent-Disc, said "We are delighted to continue our support for BAFTA through the Sargent-Disc BAFTA Filmmakers' Market. The full day of events draws from the combined experience of many of our industry partners and delivers a vital learning experience to a large number of first-time filmmakers."
