It has been another exceptional year for the film industry, with fierce competition to reach the final EE BAFTA Film Awards 2014 Nominations shortlist. To be nominated in any of the categories is a huge achievment and Sargent-Disc would like to congratulate all of the nominees.

PHILOMENA:

Philomena receives 4 nominations for Best Film (Gabrielle Tana, Steve Coogan, Tracey Seaward), Outstanding British Film (Stephen Frears, Gabrielle Tana, Steve Coogan, Tracey Seaward, Jeff Pope), Adapted Screenplay (Steve Coogan, Jeff Pope) and Leading Actress (Judi Dench).

 

RUSH:

Rush receives 4 nominations for Outstanding British Film (Ron Howard, Andrew Eaton, Peter Morgan), Supporting Actor (Daniel Bruhl), Editing (Dan Hanley, Mike Hill) and Sound (Danny Hambrook, Martin Steyer, Stefan Korte, Markus Stemler, Frank Kruse).

 

IRON MAN 3:

Iron Man 3 is nominated for Special Visual Effects (Bryan Grill, Christopher Townsend, Guy Williams, Dan Sudick)

 

THE INVISIBLE WOMAN:

The Invisible Woman is nominated for Costume Design (Michael O'Connor)

 

SHELL:

Shell is nominated for Outstanding Debut By A British Writer, Director or Producer (Scott Graham - Director/Writer)
