Both programmes are three years full-time in duration and are accredited by Drama UK. Our BA Production Technology and Management course is the only higher education programme of its kind in Scotland. The programme is designed to ensure that students can adapt to new challenges, technologies and innovations within the industry. The BA Production Arts and Design programme has two strands; Production Arts or Set/Costume Design. Specialisations available include scenic art, costume construction, set construction, prop making, and set and costume design.

The Filmbase building on Curved Street, in the heart of Dublin's Temple Bar, is a public space where filmmakers can network, hire filmmaking equipment, take training courses and receive support and information about working within the Irish film industry. Dundalk Institute of TechnologySince 2011Visit their website | ![]() Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT) is a third-level
institution based in Dundalk, on the North-east of Ireland, half
way between Dublin and Belfast. Movie Magic Scheduling and
Budgeting software is taught in DKIT as part of a Production
Management module in the 4th year of the BA (Hons) in Video &
Film Production in order to ensure that graduates are equipped with
the necessary production skills for their successful entrance into
