Sargent-Disc & EP Financial Services at Cannes 2013

Dear Subscriber,

In this issue of the Sargent-Disc newsletter, we announce the Movie Magic Academic Partnership Programme and our return to the Cannes Film Festival, where our team will be available to explain in more detail. We also present the Academic Lesson Plans designed to help teach Movie Magic software in the classroom, and report on our return to the National Film and Television School Awards. Finally, we are pleased to introduce our newest partners, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Sargent Disc and EP Financial Services at Cannes 2013

Sargent-Disc and EP Financial Services are pleased to announce their return to the 2013 Cannes Film Festival as sponsors of 'We Are UK Film' at the UK Film Centre - a hub of national and international professionals in the film industry.

The UK stand will be offering a great range of events and seminars during the festival, including producer networking events, talent Q&As, seminars, co-production hubs, pitching sessions and spotlight events with international filmmakers & partners.

Creative Strategies for International Film Financing

On Saturday 18th May, we will be co-hosting the 'Creative Strategies for International Film Financing' seminar at the UK Film Centre, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. A panel of experts will discuss the options for independent producers in financing their projects, including international tax credits, equity schemes, funding organisations and crowd funding.

1-2-1 Sessions

We are particularly interested in meeting with course leaders of established film production courses that use Movie Magic software from across the continent. We will be looking for leading schools who would be interested in forming Academic Partnerships with Sargent-Disc and Entertainment Partners to develop our growing network.

If you would like to book a session, please visit 'We Are UK Film'. Places are limited, so be sure to book in advance.
